Comedy and other labels
Jonah came downstairs while I was working on the ICANN sidebar and tried to write on a VHS cover. After watching him try a second time with a different pencil, I asked him if he wanted to use the white pen I used just last night to label the ends of 40 or so VHS cassettes so they could be shelved. He jumped at the offer and proceeded to write something on one, then another, then another VHS container. Then he went back upstairs so I got up and walked around the table to see what he had written. "Comedy". On the Blues Brothers. On Adams Family Values. On Cabin Boy.
I'm pleasantly surprised he's acquired the concept of dramatic category. He's now doing "Kids and Family" on more VHS and DVD covers, so the source of this taxonomic gift is Apple's set top box.
