Our own Fourth Fire-works

I'll put up pics as soon as I can, but right now, we're packing up as quickly as possible, expecting to have to evacuate at any minute due to a brand-spanking new wildfire just a few miles to the north of us. Unfortunately, the winds are not very cooperative, gusting to 35-40mph. All and all, an eventful day.

A thunderstorm/downpour may have given us a small reprieve, though now the wind has definitely shifted as well - to our immediate direction. The smoke plume is beginning to grow again, so it doesn't look like it's dead, just temporarily hobbled.
