USAs then and now

I suggested a few days back that interested parties might want to do a comparison of government officials listed in the 2004 Plum Book with the current occupants of those same positions. I decided to take my own advice, and started with the USAs.

I've just begun to review all the new USAs, including their biographies and what's been previously written on the in the blogosphere.

So it looks to me as if there were more than eight or ten USAs moved aside. As, indeed, it did even before I saw your helpful chart, but the chart ices it. (Or, adopting 'reasonable liberal' voice: the chart documents the grounds for suspicion that this is even bigger than thought.)
