Madame LuLu, unfortunate volunteer...

A few minutes ago, just prior to bed:

Grace, recounting a favorite part of "The Carnivorous Carnival" (Lemony Snicket #9): "One volunteer and one villain got eaten by lions..."

Eric: "Don't say anything bad about volunteers - you'll upset your mother..."

This, merely due to my obsession with the import of volunteers to political campaigns....Humph.
