Ken Doll for President, unleashed and uncensored.
John Edwards, my favorite Breck Girl, has decided to allow "citizen journalists" (maybe it's only one, I guess I should find out) to follow him around and document his every move. Well, who knows if it's that intimate. However, I watched the first "webisode", and, damn, it was pretty sweet.
There is one brief shot of Edwards at a Dave Loebsack for Congress event in Cedar Rapids. You can't see me, but I was within 15 feet of Edwards at the time. Yes, I was in Iowa for Draft Gore, but couldn't turn down the chance to see Edwards speak, particularly on issues of poverty (a subject near and dear to my heart these days.)
In 2004, supporting a candidate for the Democratic nomination was easy. I decided on Edwards early in the process. This year, life is just so much more complicated with Al Gore waiting in the wings.
Comments
You should be aware that Ken Doll is the Republican narrative for him, like "prevaricator" was for Gore and "weak flip flopper" for Kerry

Actually, I was referring to the joke in the webisode, which both the filmaker and Edwards bring up. Watch the film until the end. It quite funny.
I love that Edwards is running head on at the negative meme and essentially daring people to prove it. "Yeah, you say I'm a plastic doll? Well, here I am, in all my naked glory. Put up or shut up."
