Duncan Hunter throws his hat into the ring
I was impressed when Hunter went to bat for the North Atlantic sea power infrastructure, something targeted for destruction by SecDef Rumsford via the BRAC process. He didn't have to. Not his district (by 3,000 nautical miles), not his segment of the Iron Triangle (kites, birds and boys, not boats), and not his party's mil-mission (Saudi coast guard), and not his party's center (drooling, not Rockefeller/Wicker). It was patriotic, not partriotic.
But he's got more problems than lack of name recognition, he's an Abramoff property. Still, someone to track, other than the HRC/JMC duet. And the CA-52 is now an open seat. Defense and De Fence.

I'll vote for him, if for no other reason than "Duncan Hunter" sounds immensely presidential. And really, isn't that a good enough reason as any, given the sameness of every major party candidate we've ever been force-fed?
