Fighting at Khaim, less so at Marjayoun
Khaim:
Last night I knew there was a Tsahal armor column within a few hundred meters of Khiam, the Lebanese police in Khiam made the report. Overnight the armor attacked IRML positions at Khaim and the IRML counter-attacked, and sucessfully engaged 14 vehicles. Maybe Le Monde's reporters got it wrong, maybe it was 1.4 tanks killed. Time will tell.
Marjayoun:
Tsahal captured Marjayoun, Bourdj Al-Molouk and Klaïah this morning, and by this afternoon were forced to retreat from Marjayoun. Israeli media is mentioning "heavy losses" on the Israeli side. The Lebanese Army is occupying one part of the large barracks at Marjayoun, Tsahal occupies the other, according to the Lebanese Army command at the Marjayoun Barracks.
Beruit:
Overnight the Lebanese state radio relay towers were engaged with naval artillery, and leaflets were dropped announcing the impending indiscriminate bombing of the suburbs of Hay Al-Sellom, Bourj Al-Brajnieh and Chiyah.
Rocket artillery: 140 rounds for the day.

Lebanese police say four Tsahal tanks destroyed and burnt near Marjayun. IRML claimed the destruction of 14 Merkava tanks in the area. In an apparent pincer movement, Tsahal units are also holding positions around the western and Southern suburbs of Khiam.
