Irano-drooling slightly diminished

In the IHT Ethan Bromer's got a piece that cites Cole and discusses what he (and I, earlier) have been pointing out. The "wipe of map" remark is (a) classic Khomeni rock, circa 1979, the year when anyone with taste was enjoying the B-52's "Rock Lobster", and not exactly a modern dance hit, and (b) of dubious value as a translation from Farsi to English of a political or religious text.

This will cause the ADL to declare war on the IHT, but so long as the shooting is all in France, and they don't hit any by-standers, who cares?

Comments

Pretty obvious to anyone familiar with a bit of history too, but I imagine the IHT is where the NYT tries out limited tidbits of what passes for the 'truth' in print now-a-days. Cheers & Good Luck! 'VJ', ga.
