Worth A Mention?

The Wall Street Journal broke the story about the defense contractors who provided prostitutes as part of the pro quo for the quid of Duke Cunningham sending military contracts their way.

The Journal identifies Brent Wilkes as one of the suspects. He is identified as "Co-conspirator #1" in the Cunningham indictment, as well as:

Mr. Wilkes, of Pohway, Calif., founded a series of companies that obtained federal contracts, including ADCS Inc., which won contracts to convert paper military records to computer images.
Do you think that it might have been worth a mention that Mr. Wilkes was also a 2004 Bush Pioneer, having raised more than $100,000 for the Bush re-election campaign?
