An old friend comes to visit
Sleep disorder. It has been wicked rare the past year, which was a real blessing living in a 30' travel trailer, as there really is no where to go to, no "downstairs", where maniacal laughter and repetitive behavior can be expressed without being shared by more than one adult, and the rest of the children.
We run through the google images looking for okapi, kudu, bongo, hippo, antelope, and talk about the animals we saw at the theme park in Florida ... he put "bridge" into the exhaustive list of large animals observed, so I know we are remembering the experience, including the artfully "dangerous" bridge, which we just managed to cross half-a-dozen times over three days at that particular park.
There are interludes of head-bouncing into pillows, while laughing, and visits with PBS Kids Sprout. In the hard, five-nights-in-seven years in Portland, pre-Sprout, we'd watch bull riding.
For some reason Jonah thought guys with hats on jumping cows was hysterically funny.
