Check out our Wampum advertisers!
Unlike most Lefty bloggers, Wampum doesn't participate in BlogAds. Not that we didn't try to get in at the ground floor, but for some reason for which I'm still unsure, our application a little over a year ago was never acted upon.
However, we don't let little things like rejection stop us. This year for the first time, we've welcomed independent advertisers, and lo an behold, we now have three! Two excellent candidates in Texas House and Senate races, David Harris and Barbara Ann Radnofsky, the other, one of the funniest blogs I personally read (okay, well, I don't get around enough these days, but I still love S&I.)
We still have room for two more ads, which appear not only on Wampum's front page, but on all Wampum pages. Thus, with Koufax voting in fifteen categories, advertisers have many chances to have their ad seen and a lasting impression made.
For months now, we have run these awards mostly on donations, and have barely paid the hosting and bandwidth bills. I'd like to see the Koufax Awards sponsored in the future, but if that is not achievable, at least sustained by a strong advertising base. We're closing in on 200,000 page views (that which apparently matters to advertisers) for the past week, which is a healthy number in the BlogAds world (on par with say, MyDD.)
If you don't have an ad and would like to contribute to help keep the Koufax Awards running smoothly, we truly appreciate any and all donations. We're well past 10,000 votes cast, between comments and emails, an amazing feat that all the participating Lefty blogosphere should be proud of themselves for accomplishing.

I'd guess because you did something wrong. Or a snafu from their part.
I advise you to try again. A more practical course of action.

A couple of really kind souls have sent us offers to sponsor our application, and we're going to take at least one up once we're finished counting this round of votes.
