Koufax 2005....and the winner....
Of the "Don't Fool Me Once, Shame on You...Don't Fool Me Twice, You're an Effing Moron" category goes to:
Let's see. We make a point time and again leading up to the Awards that we do all the work by hand. Last year, I actually threw out a challenge to find the fake Lefty nominees, so these wankers somehow think that a woman with advanced degrees in history and archaeology, e.g., a great memory is pretty damn necessary, would not recall such a poor excuse for a "satire" blog.
Seriously, guys. Spend some time at Jesus General. For your own good. And our's.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled nomination sifting.

Still, this is kinda like being a little kid and waiting for Christmas. Looking
forward to seeing the results of your hard work. If there's anything I can
do to help (like counting the votes in the Most Deserving of Wider
Recognition category) let me know!

Are these people at the fake lefty site misspelling on purpose or are they borderline illiterate effing morons? Much like the fabled "right-wing humour", I just can't see it clearly enough to tell.

Thanks MB, So you need lots of advanced degrees in ancient sh*t to do blogging? I always thought it was a temperament & sanity issue, sort of like self medication. And I actually got down to the bottom of the holes I dug in archaeology! Cheers & Good Luck, 'VJ' ga.

Are you implying that the General is satire and not worthy of winning WizBang's Conservative Blog of the Year instead of Humour Blog of the Year?

VJ, I'm one of those "theoretical" archies, who gets to look over the mounds and mounds of crap all you "practical" archies pull out of the ground and just dump in the lab to be labeled and stuck away in boxes (yeah, I know you think you'll get to analyzing it someday, but just before you do, another exciting digging opportunity comes up.) ;-) ;-) ;-) Thus, I get all tingly when I get to look for patterns and anomolies and all in the data.

Several of the blogs in the New Blog category (and later in other categories) have since moved to new URLs over at Seed magazine: scienceblogs.com
Also, I noticed that
http://framing-science.blogspot.com/
is missing from the New Blog list.

I'm going for "illiterate effing morons," myself. I'd think a person with basic command of English grammar would get hives from writing like that for more than a few minutes. I certainly couldn't bear to read very much of it; I felt like I was being asked to look at the world through the eyes of someone with an IQ of about 75.
