Koufax Nominations closing soon!
Although Dwight has disappeared into a holiday black hole, I'll act unilaterally and prepare to close this year's nominations as of 11:59 pm on January 3, 2006 (which then gives all those who only have computer access at work a final chance as well.)
So, take one final look at the categories, and fill in any gaping holes you might see.
I want to take this time and thank everyone who has contributed to the Koufax Fund, particularly the wonderful soul who donated their nearly new laptop to our site administrator (and co-host), Eric. We've also hit our minimum goal, which would pay for last year's traffic. So far, it looks as if we've increased the number of nominations significantly, so it would be great to have a little cushion to handle the expected increase, as well as replace two of the failing disk drives in the server (I mentioned this way back in October, but our main concern back then was server space and bandwidth.) So our fundraising will continue, though with less desperation. Personal thank you notes will go out when my HP finally returns from the shop.
