Moving Notes

All of our stuff is supposed to arrive in Greensboro tomorrow and we will have survived the move. Of course, a few small details such as selling our house in Atlanta remain, not to mention that we will have a couple of hundred boxes to manage. It may be premature, but I thought it appropriate to note a few things that happened during the process.

My older son is eleven and old enough, we decided, to pack his own room for the move. One evening he emerged from his room carrying a large box, already taped and labeled.

I asked him what was in the box and he responded that he was not permitted to tell me. That piqued my interest so I asked why he couldn't tell me. He responded:

The box contains immature material not suitable for adults.
The box arrives tommorow. I still wonder what is in it.

Good luck on your move.

Best of luck in Greensboro. I lived in Winston for a while. It's a real interesting place.
