2004 Koufax Award Finalists For Most Deserving Of Wider Recognition
This category is intended to identify blogs of the highest quality that, for whatever reason, do not get the recognition they deserve. While I believe that even many of the top blogs, Atrios for example, does not get recognition he deserves, this category often includes blogs with a somewhat lower profile. That is not necessarily the case this year.
For instance, Susan of Suburban Guerrilla is an everyday read for me. She is a finalist for Best Blog and Best Post. She is also a finalist here. That, in my view, is appropriate as Susan deserves much wider recognition for the quality of her writing and the penetration of her insight. I do not mean to single Susan out. I seem to have been entering the URL’s for Bob Harris and Bradblog quite a bit in the last couple of days as well.
All of that is to say, please do not get too excited about whether or not a specific blog should or should not be included in this category. Instead, just take the opportunity to say nice things about your favorites.
Without further ado, the ten blogs most deserving of far wider recognition are:

When the vote fraud story breaks, ask yourself, "Was I helping to bring light to the truth or was I pretending it couldn't possibly happen?"
Bad things happen only when good people allow it to happen.

first off, i have to say 'kudos' to anyone out there delivering another left/liberal message!
i also have to say that if it were for humour i'd be pushing bob harris; as it is, every day i visit eli at left i on the news for some great insight, amazingly rational and consistent (a must for me) argument, and that inspiring sense of anger at an absurd and incredibly injust world. lefti gets my vote. more people absolutely need to visit this site...

It's a measure of the seriousness of the Progressive Blog Digest that the mere act of commenting positively on it makes one vulnerable to the growing American fascism and its efforts to stifle dissent.
