Northern Science

The house is warmer now that it is snowing. One of those odd northern facts. When the temprature is below 17° Farenheit, it is too cold to snow. My friend Karl Auerbach wrote. He found himself under 10 feet of snow somewhere in the central Sierra. Its not that odd. Here the snow is inches, but it is wicked cold. 6 below zero at dawn, 12 above at noon, then it shot up to the mid-teens when the cloud cover and snow came in. The next two days will be very cold, with lows in the teens-below.

If the NOAA is privatized, will the weather improve?
