I am getting pretty tired of the conservative argument that Democrats are discrimination against people of faith by blocking a few judicial nominations. Over at Lean Left, Tgirsch has put together a list of 51 confirmed judicial nominees from the 108 Congress alone.
Does anyone wish to argue that the nominees confirmed with Democratic support are not people of faith or perhaps that they are not sufficiently religious? If so please explain why the nominees were supported by the President and the GOP.
If anyone wants to make the religious discrimination argument, please go down that list and identify which confirmed nominees are people of faith and which are not and provide evidence to support the classification. Until we can make that determination, it is premature and reckless to make the very serious charge of religious discrimination.
