Posted by: Dylan at February 11, 2005 02:09 PMBob Harris, hands down. Best writer in the blogosphere right now. Channels his cynicism and rage into sharp, biting humor, but has an amazing capacity for empathy and appreciation of the beauty in this world. Like I mentioned in another thread, he has an easy, evocative style that brings his subject matter to life that you rarely see in the quick-hit style that dominates the blogs, both left and right. The man simply knows how to put the English language to incredibly effective use.

Gotta say Bob Harris, for all the reasons cited by jpb. Harris is evocative and emotive in a unique way that stems from a love and respect for the world and the people in it. I get the feeling that he understands things in a more Shakespearian sort of a way... and he's really funny and joyful.
