Wampum's new look

I spent last night curled up with my laptop and a glass of Beaujolais trying to move Wampum to a three column format. Things were just getting a little crowded with a two column format, and scrolling was becoming a bit tedious. This new design allows us to be a bit more flexible, and add some features we've been discussing amongst ourselves, such as our current reading list.

We're also including links to our favorite autism organizations, should our readers like to throw their hard earned cash at groups the federal government has generally underfunded. And since we generally don't ask for contributions to keep Wampum running, other than our recent Koufax expansion fundraiser, instead, I've set up WishList links for our kids, mostly books and learning materials. (With the tech sector in it's third year of recession, Christmas here will be a bit sparser than usual.) Our wishlist is currently on Amazon, but we're looking into other options.

We may end up moving to an ad format - we're still debating the pros and cons, but have made room, just in case. We may just use the space for affiliates and coops instead.

I can't figure out the double line on the right sidebar. And the extra banners. If any CSS guru wants to figure it out, I'll mail you our templates.

The call for the Third Annual Koufax Award nominees will be put out shortly. Stay tuned.

Hiya...been reading via your newsfeed for a few months now- I'm a blogger and the mother of two children on the Spectrum (one mild and one severe). I came to the page to see the new layout- looks great, I am considering going to 3 columns myself!

Welcome, Lili (our youngest is Keziah Lily.) The photos on your website are gorgeous. I so want to make it to Ireland someday.

Thank you for delurking.

It looks great on Mozilla on Linux, but on Netscape on Windoze, I get the whole left column at the top of the screen and I have to scroll down to get the other two, which are otherwise formatted fine.

Looks nice :)

It's working perfectly for me now! Thanks! :)

FYI, in Mozilla, I don't get three vertical columns. I get all your left column stuff first, then all your right column stuff, then finally your actual entries.
