There is no excuse for even purported Administration critics such as Ted Rall to produce such dreck as this. Contact the Washington Post if you can find the words at ombudsman@washpost.com.
Posted by MB Williams at November 11, 2004 08:13 AM | TrackBackTed Rall probably has not visited Wampum or PL&A. I too was ignorant of the width and the depth of autism, until I read of Jonah and Bobby. I could not care when I heard of angry parents complain; now I can empathize because I've seen a glimpse of their/your stories.
Posted by: Peatey at November 12, 2004 02:49 AMI think Rall has a blog, so do contact him. The news papers have been hermetically sealed from outside contacts of influence for a generation by now. Rall however might be persuaded that whatever he was trying to do needs to be done with some sort of sensitivity for how his toons might be perceived by the differently abled among his readership.
I really don't think Bush is stupid. He's willfully ignorant of too many things, but that's just to concentrate on what he's good at: winning elections at this point in time. This is what made them so dangerous and will continue to endanger the country for perhaps decades to come.
