Eric, I and the kidlings are back from our weeklong jaunt to Cape Hatteras, where we braved two tropical storms and a tornado, and still managed wicked sunburns. Eric is currently unloading the car while I try and find out why I returned to a completely dead still-new HP laptop. In a few minutes, I'm heading into the shower, so I can make it to work on time on my first day. For the next 75 days, my posting will be curtailed, both by time and purpose. My new position is as field director for the Kerry-Edwards coordinated here in the first Maine CD, and I suspect even my family will begin to forget my face in the upcoming months.
But Eric and Dwight are here to hold down the wigwam and I'll drop in to discuss oil and employment numbers as time allows.
