Does this win the prize for the shortest Paul Krugman op/ed ever?

Then again, who needs words when you have a graph like this:

Attributes to add to the Bush list (after flip-flopping, of course): Exaggerator.

I think the Krugman chart indicates something beyond garden variety exaggeration. A common definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. A quick glance at the similarity of the three job forecasts and the accompanying dismal results would have convinced most people to change their ways. Sadly for all of us, we have a president who prides himself and even campaigns on his "steady leadership". Going down with the ship sounds noble in the abstract, but I, for one, would rather the ship was still floating. Can we get a new captain?

Exaggerator?

Like the WMD capability of Saddam Hussein was exaggerated?

Like the impact of gay marriage (or civil unions, or whatever) on society is being exaggerated?

Like the "liberalness" of any given Democratic candidate is routinely exaggerated to the point of parody?

Like the "vandalism" perpetrated by the previous administration upon their exit was exaggerated?

I could go on, but I have work to do.
